The Chimney at Tanjung Kubong is a 106-foot brick structure left from colonial-era coal mining operations, roughly 1847 to 1911.
Its purpose is still debated — most likely connected to coal processing or ventilation. It is now the principal landmark of the Tanjung Kubong geosite.
