Tanjung Kubong is the primary geosite of Labuan Geopark, showing dramatic folded rock formations, sea stacks and tidal platforms.
The sedimentary layers here were deposited on an ancient seabed during the Oligocene epoch, roughly 25 to 35 million years ago. Coastal trails carry interpretive signage, and The Chimney landmark stands on the same site.
